What would you like to be added?

Is there any timeline on when a hosted container image might be available? Is there anything that could be contributed to speed up the availability?

Why is this needed?

This will help to simplify a lot of CI and workflows.

The Kubernetes project currently lacks enough contributors to adequately respond to all issues.
